About Me

Hey! My name is Lizette, and I love to crochet. I started crocheting back in 2012 and haven’t been able to stop since. I’m left-handed, but I crochet right-handed. I started by learning knit, then found myself on YouTube learning to crochet a hat! Once I discovered amigurumi, I haven’t touched my knitting needles (although I plan to someday).

The name “Chrisette Designs” came from combining my name, “Lizette” and my husband’s name, “Christopher”.

He’s the one who inspired me to pursue art. Here’s my favorite wedding pic of us!

I’m half Puerto Rican /Half Dominican (Yes, I’m aware that I do not look like it)!

I have a Bachelors in History Education but public school teaching wasn’t for me. I’ll be teaching crochet lessons on here instead! See? My degree wasn’t a waste, haha!

I love anime (a little too much according to some of my friends), Harry Potter, video games, Hello Kitty (I can’t. Stop. Buying everything with her on it! SEND HELP!)

Basically, you could walk into a Hot Topic blindfolded and find something I like!

The Goal:

  3. I don’t understand why when I press the load more posts, it won’t load more posts. I only get a few of your pattern options on the page and then it will not load anymore.

    1. Hi Susan! I will contact the theme developer and see if they can fix that. For now, you can scroll down until you see the “categories” section and see the different topics to choose from and should be able to see them all that way. Thanks for letting me know! I’ll reply here once they let me know when it’s fixed.
